We keep things simple, transparent, and fair — the way buying glasses should be.
Shipping
Every SpecHaus order comes with free express delivery, fully tracked from dispatch to your door.
Once your glasses have been glazed, quality-checked, and carefully packed, you'll receive a tracking link via email. Estimated delivery is 5 business days from order.
12-Month Warranty
Every SpecHaus frame comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, including:
- Faulty or broken hinges
- Frame warping under normal use
- Lens coating defects
- Lenses not glazed to your prescription — we'll remake them free of charge
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover accidental damage, scratches from everyday wear, or loss.
To make a claim, email hello@spechaus.co.uk with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll assess and get back to you quickly.
Custom-Made Glasses — Returns Policy
All SpecHaus glasses are custom-made with lenses glazed specifically to your prescription. Because of this, we're unable to offer refunds once glazing has begun — this is standard practice across the industry for custom prescription eyewear, and is in line with UK consumer law.
Changed your mind? Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing, before glazing begins. Email us at hello@spechaus.co.uk as soon as possible and we'll do our best to catch it in time.
We will always remake or replace your glasses at no cost if:
- The wrong prescription or lens type has been fitted
- The glasses arrive damaged
- There is a clear manufacturing fault
Exchanges
Not quite the right frame? No problem — just get in touch and we'll sort it.
Here's how it works:
- Email hello@spechaus.co.uk with your order number and the frame you'd like to switch to
- We'll confirm availability and send you return instructions
- Send back your original pair in unused condition — return postage is covered by the customer
- We'll be in touch to arrange your new pair
Get in touch within 30 days of receiving your order.
Accessories & Non-Glazed Items
If you've purchased a non-glazed item such as a case or cleaning cloth, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund, provided it's in its original condition.
