By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from SpecHaus.
You may not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, prices and information are accurate.
However, occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies and update information at any time, without prior notice.

4. Prices and Services

All prices listed on our website are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products, pricing or services at any time.

5. Ordering

When you place an order, you agree that:

  • All information you provide is accurate

  • Your prescription (if provided) is valid and up to date

  • You are legally entitled to purchase prescription eyewear

Orders may be cancelled by us if we suspect misuse, incorrect information or fraudulent activity.

6. Custom-Made Products

All SpecHaus glasses — including prescription, reading and blue-light — are custom-made with lenses glazed specifically for your order.

This means:

  • They cannot be resold

  • They cannot be refunded unless faulty

  • Lens glazing cannot be reversed or reused

By placing an order, you acknowledge that your glasses are made specifically for you.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Please refer to our full Shipping & Returns policy for detailed information.

In summary:

  • Custom-made orders (prescription, reading, blue-light) are non-refundable unless faulty

  • Exchanges are permitted within 30 days

  • Exchanges require:

    • Return of the original pair in unused condition

    • A £10 reglazing fee

    • Customer-paid return postage

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will remake or replace it free of charge.

8. Delivery

Standard delivery is £4.99 within the UK.
Free delivery applies to orders over £99.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary.
We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

9. Accuracy of Prescription Information

You are responsible for providing a valid and accurate prescription.

We are not responsible for any issues arising from:

  • Out-of-date prescriptions

  • Incorrect prescriptions provided

  • Missing information (including PD measurements)

If you are unsure, please contact your optician before ordering.

10. Optional Reglazing

If you request a frame exchange, a £10 reglazing fee applies.

This charge covers the production of new custom lenses.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including branding, text, logos, graphics, images and layout — is the property of SpecHaus Ltd and protected by copyright law.

No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without written consent.

12. User Accounts

If you create an account on our website:

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure

  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our site for:

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product purchased.
